WELL STONE THE FLAMING CROWS

Another morning and another wake up to a cyber-attack under the Turnbull government’s watch.
So far in the Abbott/Turnbull era we’ve seen breaches in data for the ATO, Census, Centrelink and now ‘Alf’ has hacked information about Australia's warplanes and navy ships from a Defence subcontractor.
“This is a real concern about supply chain management and commercial in confidence matters for our nation.
“Alf, a mystery hacker, sucked down 30 gigabytes of data, including information on Australia's $17 billion Joint Strike Fighter program, and $4 billion P-8 surveillance plane project.
“While Christopher Pyne is on radio talking this down today – ASD incident response manager Mitchell Clarke told a Sydney conference on Wednesday "the compromise was extensive and extreme".
"If defence contractors can't be trusted to keep sensitive data secure how can we have any faith that Centrelink contractors will do a better job with the private data of millions of Australians?
“It is just beyond a joke,” Brian Mitchell said.
